The Record to Report Manager will be responsible for assisting the RTR Global Process Owner in the strategic agenda for the R2R end-to-end process. You will lead specific projects in which you will represent the RTR process and end state goals in which we strive will continue to standardize, automate, and challenge the current state. You will align with key stakeholders on the direction of the process, including with Finance, Commercial IT, and the ERP program. As the RTR Manager, you will also contribute to the documentation of the processes itself and any changes to improve the process.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the Process Excellence organization and establish a community of practice to connect R2R process experts in the clusters, IT and other global functions
  • Represent the RTR area as a Subject Matter Expert within collaborating projects across the organization which can include new technology implementation, risk and control environment, and new business models
  • Advocate individual behavior changes, both inside and outside GBS, in a way that facilitates the desired outcomes
  • Work closely with the GL, Consolidation and Controlling operational teams to keep a pulse on the RTR environment
  • Bring and identify best practices and work with the continuous improvement and Process Excellence team to implement improvements within the end-to-end R2R process
  • Carry out the visions, strategies and best-practice policies across the R2R area while proactively pursuing process efficiency opportunities
  • Assist on RTR technology projects including a new ERP implementation by connecting RTR best practices with IT requirements

  • 5 years of solid experience working in the record to report function including the GL function and/or consolidation and reporting
  • Strong international accounting technical knowledge
  • Experience with finance process improvement initiatives
  • Strong ERP and other systems knowledge related to the process
  • Risk environment and controls mitigation understanding
  • Experience from retail, fashion or FMCG industry (preferred)
  • Fluent in English – verbally and written
  • Microsoft project or equivalent, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business or IT
