Your Role:
The Master Data Operations Manager is responsible for leading global master data operations, ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant creation, maintenance, and governance of master data across SAP and related enterprise systems. The role leads a global team of Master Data Specialists and SMEs, delivers operational excellence across core master data domains, drives continuous improvement and automation, and acts as a trusted business partner to functions including Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Product Development, Finance, Retail, and Digital & Technology. The position plays a critical role in supporting business operations, ERP transformation initiatives, data quality improvements, and the transition of strategic programs into sustainable business-as-usual operations.

 

Your Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations:

  • Lead and develop a global Master Data team,
  • Drive operational performance through KPIs, SLAs, quality, and productivity management,
  • Foster a high-performing culture focused on service excellence and continuous improvements,

Master Data Service Delivery:

  • Manage day-to-day Master Data Operations across SAP and connected systems,
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant master data maintenance.
  • Drive standardization, issue resolution, and operational excellence.
  • Drive standardization, continuous improvement, automation, and AI readiness across Master Data Operations, ensuring data is fit for business, analytics, and emerging AI use cases.

SAP & Transformation Support:

  • Support SAP master data governance and operational processes,
  • Contribute to Compass, SAP S/4HANA, Aurora, and HERO initiatives through data migration, testing, deployment, and business readiness activities,
  • Partner with business and programme teams to implement master data standards and controls.

Data Quality & Compliance:

  • Drive data quality through monitoring, controls, and root cause resolution,
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards, policies, controls, and audit requirements,
  • Support KPI tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.

Business Partnership:

  • Act as a trusted partner to business functions and transformation programmes,
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and support operational improvements,
  • Translate business requirements into scalable operational solutions.

Continuous Improvement & Automation:

  • Drive process simplification, standardization, and automation,
  • Leverage technology, workflow tools, and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and quality,
  • Promote best practices in service delivery and operational excellence.

 

We're the Perfect Match If You Have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field,
  • 8+ years of experience in finance or master data processes within SSC/BPO environment, including minimum 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role,
  • Strong leadership and people management skills combined with analytical thinking,
  • Stakeholder management and ability to drive performance and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment,
  • Strong ERP knowledge (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX), preferably SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel,
  • Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies, ability to drive process improvements and automation, strong understanding of data governance and operational processes,
  • English and Polish – advanced (written and spoken),
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrix organization with multiple stakeholders,
  • Data-driven and action-oriented approach with a passion for automation and process optimization.
