Associate Specialist, Tax Accountant

Your responsibilities:
Working in Tax Team as Associate Specialist, Tax Accountant you will be responsible for the Indirect Tax Compliance in the EMEA region, i.e. preparation and submission of the returns (VAT, Intrastat, ECSL). Responsibility for handling EMEA companies in terms of preparation and submission of VAT related returns and JPK files, includes:
- Analysis of VAT registers
- Preparation of VAT and Intrastat declarations
- Posting and reconciliation of VAT on balance sheet accounts
- Cooperation with external advisors
- Reporting of other local taxesHandling internal audits, external audits and tax audits
- Supporting tax projects in the organization, ensuring their compliance with established standards and deadlines
- Cooperation with internal clients and tax authorities.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in indirect tax (experience or willingness to gain skills in accounting for international VAT transactions is welcome),
- Master’s degree in finance, Accounting or Economics,
- Fluent in English - verbally and written and at least communicative in Polish,
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Excel - advanced level,
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP S/4 Hana or experience in new ERP system implementation will be an asset,
- Ability to learn quickly,
