Pandora is looking for a dynamic and business-savvy Senior Specialist, Payroll in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

 

Main purpose of the role:

 

The Senior Specialist, Payroll is responsible for providing customer service and executing end to end payroll processes, aligned to Brazil´s HRBP needs.

The Senior Specialist, Payroll will provide coordination and continuous improvement of current business processes within the payroll department. Duties include preparation, review of payroll data, calculation of exception items, garnishments, and administration of time and attendance system. Will also assist department with other payroll-related projects as needed. 

 

  • Supports LATAM payroll process as primary subject matter expert including the calculation, preparation and submission of payroll for Brazil.
  • Ability to execute extremely deadline driven tasks in a timely and effective manner.
  • Positive, pleasant and approachable demeanor with customer centric mindset.
  • Audit HR personnel entries as it relates to employees pay.
  • Research and resolve payroll issues.
  • Collaborates with business partners and management to provide properly controlled processes to meet internal/external customer needs.
  • Scan, file and/or save payroll files for audits.
  • Maintain payroll expertise by staying up date on statutory compliance.
  • Maintain employee payroll garnishments.
  • Processes off-cycle payments upon approvals.
  • Manage Time & Attendance with support staff and supervisors while maintaining precise payroll records.
  • Process new hires, employee changes, terminations and benefit administration.
  • Provide support to Finance and HRBP as needed.
  • Manage Social Security Taxes and Contributions
  • Ad hoc projects as needed, such as creation of new policies and procedures that supports the accuracy of payroll execution (vacation policies, time attendance, HR processes)  
  • Supports on audit process, gathering the information required.

 

What We Are Looking For: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or similar 
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in a similar role 
  • Attention to detail, with strong organizational, analytic and problem-solving skills 
  • Must be able to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Responsive to customer needs while maintaining professionalism, respect and consideration of others
  • Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors work to ensure quality
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources administration
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and conflict management skills
  • Fluent English. Spanish is a plus
