The Assortment Planner role contributes to the assortment analytical function, leading assortment activities through all seasonal stages from newness planning, replenishment sales plans, to sales analysis and insight sharing for collection/categories. Providing analysis on local pricing and implementing price changes in alignment with global team.

What you’ll do:

  • Implement global product life-cycle guidance and end of season exit strategies
  • Manage Product & Assortment local data enrichment
  • Achieve sell out forecast accuracy KPI’s across ANZ Assortment
  • Drive operational excellence through superior sell out plans and ensure resultant forecasts are linked the TLU and commercial pulse
  • Collaborate with MFP team for seasonal/quarterly financial target setting
  • Responsible to submit newness needs & local request briefs to global
  • Own newness selection and financial planning for cluster incl. Wholesale / Partner packages
  • Responsible for sales and unit forecasting submission for all markets & channels
  • In-season sales performance analysis and collaborate with cluster team to develop strategies to improve KPIs
  • Hindsight sales performance to identify opportunities for future assortment needs, especially in relation to cycle post mortem
  • Expert and deep knowledge of category and DV performance, monetizing trends into strong merchandising plans

 

You have:

  • Experience in a similar role in a global retailer
  • Relentlessly commercial and fact based and analytical
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally & geographically
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large sets of data and present results in a simple manner
  • Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and cross-functional teams.
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities.
  • Able to perform under pressure, organize and prioritize workload to meet deadline
  • Strong team working and collaboration skills
