- Lead the implementation and integration of new machinery and advanced technologies into existing operations, ensuring seamless functionality and minimal disruption.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Develop and implement innovative maintenance strategies and best practices tailored to advanced machinery, enhancing equipment reliability and performance.
- Equip the maintenance team with the necessary skills and knowledge through comprehensive training programs focused on new technologies and machinery.
- Optimize maintenance processes to reduce downtime, improve machine availability, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Implement cost-effective maintenance solutions, monitor maintenance expenditures, and contribute to the reduction of operational costs while maintaining high standards of machinery performance.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards, promoting a safe working environment and minimizing risk.
- Actively participate in the design phase of new machinery to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, incorporating safety features and ergonomic considerations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by staying updated with the latest advancements in technology, automation and applying innovative solutions to maintenance challenges.
- Plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This includes coordinating resources, managing timelines, and mitigating risks to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and other departments, to support the successful integration, design, and maintenance of advanced technologies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, machinery performance, technological advancements and new machine handover package ( Drawing, Trouble shooting, Manual operation and Spare parts), providing regular reports to management for informed decision-making.
- Promote sustainable maintenance practices that minimize environmental impact, support energy efficiency, and contribute to the organization’s sustainability goals.
- Participate in the design and development of new machinery to ensure it meets operational needs, maintenance accessibility, and efficiency requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with design engineers and supplier to incorporate features that facilitate easy maintenance and operational reliability.

- High Vocational Certificate, Bachelor’s degree, or higher in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced certifications or coursework in Maintenance Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or related disciplines are highly desirable.
- Skilled in controlling, troubleshooting, and programming PLC, SCADA, and automation systems, including hardware mechanics.
- Strong understanding of machine performance, maintenance operations, and equipment reliability.
- Ability to design mechanical systems and machine components is highly preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for engineering and mechanical design.
- Extensive knowledge of machinery maintenance, including preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, KAIZEN, and TPM methodologies is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with advanced maintenance technologies such as Robots, PLC, HMI, Sensors, Transducers, IoT, AI for predictive maintenance, and automation systems (GXW2, GXW3, GT Designer, IAI RC/EC, SERVO, etc.).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Proven experience in leading maintenance teams and managing engineering or automation projects.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements related to machinery and maintenance operations.
- Professional certifications are preferred, such as Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), certifications related to mechanical design or automation systems, and safety certifications such as OSHA, SBA, SSA, or equivalent.
- Strong project management capabilities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of projects within scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
- Good understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management related to maintenance activities.
- Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Demonstrated track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing innovative maintenance practices.
- Ability to integrate new technologies and processes to improve maintenance efficiency, machine reliability, and operational effectiveness.
