Strategic Finance Business Partnering:

  • Assist in leading strategic collaborations with business unit discussions to understand their operations and contribute to financial discussions.
  • Be an advisor for less complex topic but specific pre-defined scope by providing support in offering financial insights and recommendations for decision making, including CAPEX investment, change in operating process, etc.

Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining financial models, template, and process for budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with business units.
  • Proactively analyze financial performance to generate insights to support business initiatives and planning assumption.
  • Ensure accurate and timely input to align with corporate objectives.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, including detail tracking of the actual result vs target.
  • Contribute to identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for discussion.
  • Support the benchmarking analysis to identify the performance gap and improvement opportunity.

Financial Reporting and communication:

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports to senior management and business leaders.
  • Provide concise explanations for variances in financial results connecting with operation actions to define the root cause and financial driver.
  • Ensure the accuracy of accounting transaction under responsible cost center; focusing on standard cost, production variance, and fixed asset.

Process Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities and able to implement basic initiative for process improvements in financial function.
  • Participate in the implementation of best practices to enhance efficiency.

Product cost:

  • Assist in monitoring costing and operational BOM and route.
  • Assist in identify the improvement in BOM, route, and standard costing concept when it required.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Contribute to identifying and addressing financial risks through established controls.

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Assist in provide guidance and mentorship to the team.
