Main purpose of this role:
- Strategic results: Drive strategic & tactical decisions for Production plant and align resources to deliver key functional objectives in alignment with PANDORA strategic goals. Serve as the initiative’s owner between Center Pex and Local, ensuring transparency on resources and execution plan.

Key Responsibilities:
- KEY OBJECTIVES
- Oversee creation of samples as required for Selection Workshop/ Product Trade Review, sell-in, etc. based on design brief and CAD design
- Measure standard time and verify BOM accuracy for material planning
- Develop and optimize new DV production process, routing and tooling for mass production
- Handover ‘mass production-ready’ process to Production
- Collaborate with Production and Quality to improve process and uplift quality
- Provision all local strategic initative projects since beginning phase with key stakeholder to clarify scope, objective and expected result to ensure the target area aligned and meet KPIs
- Develop and adopt new technology to enhance production performance and maintain in high standard level.
- KEY DUTIES
- Coordinate with production and I&PD team to ensure production sites have sufficient resources and capacity to deliver
- Perform last minute capacity reallocation due to unexpected disruptions/ delays on new product samples submission
- Oversee pre-production SOVD phases, providing guidance and support to local production sites as required to deliver to deadlines at the right quality
- Oversee creation of all sell-in, green-tag and marketing samples based on selected design at PTR [Product Trade Review]
- Ensure on-time delivery of pre-production samples and seamless handover of ‘mass production-ready’ process to Production
- Manage development of process, routing and tooling for mass production

- Improve and optimize production process for new products developed
- Decide on sprue design/ changes required based on testing
- Test and ensure Product Master quality
- Provide feedback and recommend changes to Product Master required for mass production
- Ensure master data is captured and shared with I&PD team while maintaining BOM, standard time accuracy
- Oversee handover of ‘mass production-ready’ process to Production
- Work closely in collaboration with Production and Quality to incorporate mass production learnings in process development
- Lead on implementing new technology to uplift the next level of production performance
- Explore and adopt ‘new to industry’ project to ensuring the manufacturing efficiency are in the top level.
- Performing assessment to shortlist of new initiatives to ensure the readiness and benefit are feasible and good business case before implement.
- Performing pilot test of new initiatives and prepare all readiness before roll out for mass production.
- Manage project and the key stakeholder as well as facilitate meeting and discussions to make sure the projects progress as plan to achieve the desired outcomes. Be able to identify risk and issues to formulate mitigation action and solution.
Production excellence role:
- Key objectives:
- Drive continuous improvement effort to reduce production cost, improve quality and productivity, and increase FROT Leadtime.
- Coordiante with Quality to implement long term corrective actions improving/ eliminating quality issues
- Coordinate with Innovation to implement innovation pilots and support transition into mass-production of new innovations
- Streamline communication and alignment between PEx, I&PD, Quality, FM and Production, as well as deployment of best practices across production units
- Lead the development of PEx strategic and productivity roadmap, and KPI targets
- Take lead on strategic initiatives involving continuous improvement
- Liaise with Production, I&PD and Supply chain to prioritize initiatives and activities with the Production unit to ensure efficient resources utilization
- Collaborate with Quality, FM, Production and Supply chain on day-to-day troubleshooting technical related issue; to ensure effectiveness of Fast Response /Defect Resolution and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Provide feedback on quality and operations issues to I&PD/ CQ to prevent reoccurence and further improve DFCS and process control
- Drive short-term/ long-term continuous improvement initiatives and best practice defined by Center PEX and endorse the implementation through collaboration with Production and I&PD
- Validate new innovations from I&PD; provide inputs and feedback to feasibility study; support the transition from pilot to mass production
- Agree to changes/ updates of standard time, work instruction, and other manufacturing parameters; ensure effectiveness of the change management process
- Ensure best practices sharing and standardization across all plants and GBU business partners to deliver best-in-class operations performance
- Coordinate with Finance controller to optimize cost performance; ensure CAPEX/OPEX adherence of new projects
