About Pandora Production Vietnam

Pandora’s new jewellery crafting facility is located in the Vietnam–Singapore Industrial Park III (VSIP III), about 40 km north of Ho Chi Minh City. When fully scaled, the state-of-the-art facility will produce up to 60 million jewellery pieces annually and employ around 7,000 craftspeople. It is powered entirely by renewable energy and built to LEED Gold certification standards.

Main purpose of the role:

The Group Leader, Production Training works very closely with Production leaders, and key stakeholders for alignment to ensure that all training plan, preparation for training readiness to effectiveness of training, provides data skill matrix of craftspeople.

 

This role is responsible for centralizing data, and delivering comprehensive skills matrix enhance the abilities, precision, of craftspeople skills in production.

 

The aim of this role is to develop learning data system for support Pandora Production Academy and support master Jewellery trainer to lift up craftmanship standard skill through Production Academy Program.

 

Key accountabilities:

- Ensure all training documents from Production Academy PPT translated into Vietnamese and updated into PPV document system.

- Create and update training materials, SOPs, and visual aids for new machines and new processes.

- Work closely with Production Academy to continously review and improve training content and materials.

- Collaborate with SHE to ensure all trainees understand and follow safety standards, policies of PPV.

- Collaborate with Production Academy, HR to oversee end-to-end System of production academy programs.

- Coordinate with Production and others key stakeholders on implementing and monitoring of Production academy training programs.

- Create and align training plan with key stakeholders and annual training schedule

- Develop online system and ensure effectiveness of the training for the pre/ post- test and satisfaction evaluation.

- Manage and develop onboarding JOP and ensure effectiveness of the programs.

- Set following up system and prepare report and summary monthly dashboard of production academy.

- Manage production academy database and further analyse on the needs of Jewellery skill development and other production related skills.

- Maintain and continuously update skills matrix and craftspeople certification.

- Drive Production Academy projects and support in cross-function projects, Edutainment Centre and learning intervention activities.

- Continuously improve production training skill matrix, database system, training materials, and find ways to drive efficiency within Production Training

- Facilitate knowledge sharing and dialogue across business functions and stakeholders.

- Facilitate and conduct training for and techniques knowledge to team members when needed.

- Share knowledge and know-how on Pandora Jewellery production skills to employees

 

Job Requirement:

- Bachelor’s or college degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

- Minimum 3 years of working experience as master trainer/technical learning supervisor in the manufacturing industry (Jewelry manufacturing preferred but not required).

- Hand on experience as trainer or facilitator in technical training and development in manufacturing industry.

- Experience in skill matrix management, technical training and development.

- Understand learning & developing methodology and model

- Understanding of process control and quality standards.

- Background in On-the-Job Training system in technical field

- Systematic Problem solving

- Background in Jewellery field

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and multi-task effectively.

- Proficient in MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, and Power BI.

- Good command of written and spoken English.
