About Pandora Production Vietnam

Pandora’s new jewellery crafting facility is located in the Vietnam–Singapore Industrial Park III (VSIP III), about 40 km north of Ho Chi Minh City. When fully scaled, the state-of-the-art facility will produce up to 60 million jewellery pieces annually and employ around 7,000 craftspeople. It is powered entirely by renewable energy and built to LEED Gold certification standards.

 

Key Objectives

Technical Intake & Development Support
• Collect and interpret the Product Information Package for Insourcing, Double SKUs, and New Product Development from the I&PD Product Engineer (Thailand).
• Provide technical input to Pre-Production on product design, materials, tooling, and process selection, with focus on target cost, quality, production capability, and visual alignment to design intent.

Sample Validation & Quality Conformance
• Validate and monitor pre-production and production samples against product specifications, test methods, and look-and-feel requirements using original references.
• Ensure samples meet internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations before gate approvals.

Risk Assessment & Cost Optimization
• Conduct DFM and process risk assessments to identify potential failure modes and bottlenecks.
• Optimize product design, materials, and manufacturing techniques to achieve target cost without compromising performance, safety, or reliability.

Issue Management & Continuous Improvement
• Investigate and validate issues found during the prototype phase, consolidate cross-functional feedback, and drive corrective and preventive actions to minimize defects and rework in the PM phase.

Standards & Documentation Governance
• Review, release, and maintain standards, specifications, drawings, and BOMs for materials, components, product masters, and finished products.
• Ensure all technical documentation complies with design requirements, regulatory obligations, and quality standards; manage revision control and traceability.

Supplier Technical Collaboration
• Serve as the technical interface with local OEM suppliers, ensuring adherence to specifications, standards, approved materials, and process controls.

Cost Control
• Provide technical input for the Costing team to calculate costs.
• Find a solution in terms of product design to reduce costs when they exceed the target.

Continuous Improvement: 
• Implement processes for continuous improvement in product design, development, and manufacturing to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or High Vocational Certificate with direct experience Mechanical/Jewelry design or related field 

• Product development experience 
• Knowledge and experience with components such as springs, magnets, metals and other materials
• Experience with alternative manufacturing methods
• Experience in manufacturing environment (Jewelry experience is preferred) 

• Decent English level
