Join our newly created Trade Merchandising team as a Student Assistant and gain hands-on experience working with global merchandising and sales performance data. Our dynamic and passionate team will support you every step of the way on your journey. 

As a Student Assistant in Trade Merchandising within Global Merchandising, you will support the team in maintaining and analysing sales and product performance data that helps track commercial performance across markets and different collections. You will assist with preparing regular trade reports, ensuring data accuracy in merchandising tools, and helping the team identify trends and insights that support better decision-making. 

Through analytical tasks and cross-team collaboration, you will contribute to transparent performance tracking and support the development of tools and reports used for planning and trade execution. 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Maintain and update data across merchandising and trade management tools to ensure high levels of accuracy 
  • Support the preparation of weekly and monthly trade reports by compiling and analysing sales and performance data 
  • Monitor sales performance, retail KPIs, and commercial trends to identify insights and improvement opportunities 
  • Assist in building and maintaining Range Framework tools such as trays, Top 500 lists, and product packages used for assortment planning 
  • Provide analytical and operational support to the Trade Merchandising team 
  • Support documentation updates and coordination of data requests across teams

We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented student with strong analytical capabilities who enjoys working with data and supporting teams through insights and reporting. You thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and are comfortable balancing multiple tasks while maintaining high quality in your work. 

Additionally, we hope to see that you can demonstrate: 

  • Pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Economics, Finance, Business Administration or similar 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights 
  • Structured and detail-oriented approach to data management and reporting 
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to support tasks and identify opportunities for improvement 
  • Teamwork and can-do attitude, taking pride in supporting colleagues and shared goals 
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English 
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills; PowerBI experience is considered a plus 
  • Experience from internships or student positions in international companies, preferably within retail, fashion, lifestyle, or FMCG, is a plus

Working requirements:

  • This role is based in our Copenhagen HQ
  • Up to 15–20 hours per week, with flexibility around exams
  • Please note: To be considered for this role, you need to be enrolled in a Danish University.
