We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as Operations Specialist. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our marketing initiatives, specifically focusing on the development, implementation, and optimization of packaging, displays, and other point-of-sale materials. You will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, and quality, ensuring the efficient implementation of these materials across our physical retail landscape. 

 

The Store Creative & Design team is responsible for creating the branded framework for an optimal shopping experience – developing and maintaining Pandora’s creative campaigns and standard point-of-sale materials for all retail stores and ensuring that they are attractive to consumers and scalable for implementation. You will utilise Excel and other relevant tools for meticulous data organization, budget tracking, and analysis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the process. And also, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all aspects, ensuring precise implementation and alignment with brand guidelines. You will work closely with creative teams in SC&D, other Marketing functions, suppliers, and key stakeholders in the business, including Procurement, Supply Chain, Sustainability, and market teams, to ensure a best-in-class end-to-end process and project management. Your goal is to seek new ways of improving our processes while maintaining a calm and organized approach in a dynamic business environment. 

 

Your main responsibilities: 

  • Product Development and Implementation: Support the development and implementation of new packaging, displays, and other point-of-sale materials to enhance brand desirability and drive sales. 

  • Project Management: Support multiple projects simultaneouslymanage timelines, track budgets, and ensure quality from inception through the creative process to execution. 

  • Material Library Management: Maintain and improve the material library, ensure it is a seamless and organized resource. 

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvements, implement best practices and innovative solutions. 

  • Commercial Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and ensure the sourcing of the right materials and suppliers. 

  • Supplier Management & Compliance: manage pack size level, negotiate initial prices and minimum order quantities with suppliers. 

  • Data Management: update the standard assortment catalogue, create new items, collect supplier quotes and communicate final prices. 

  • Cost Management: Pursue and achieve ongoing price savings and cost reductions in collaboration with the relevant teams. 

  • End-to-End Process: Drive the end-to-end process in collaboration with Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure a seamless and efficient process for point-of-sale materials. 

  • Ad-hoc Responsibilities: Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed to address evolving business needs. 

 

What is needed to succeed: 
To succeed as SC&D Operations Specialist, you might have an educational background within Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred). Furthermore, we imagine that you have and can demonstrate: 

 

  • 2+ years experience in Retail Marketing, Operations, Point-of-Sales Materials Development, Procurement, or similar, with a proven track record of success. 

  • Creative development process understanding and experience is considered a plus. 

  • Experience from jewellery, retail, fashion or FMCG industry is considered a plus. 

  • Experience working in a global organization. 

  • Knowledge of the jewellery market trends and best practices is preferred. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly strong PowerPoint presentation skills and advanced Excel skills. 

  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
