Are you passionate about Internal Audit and Compliance Controlling? Pandora is currently looking an ambitious and motivated Internal Audit Specialist for out Group Internal Audit Department in Global Office in Copenhagen. 

 
Job Description and areas of responsibility

The Internal Audit Specialist will report to the Senior Manager, Internal Audit, and be based in Copenhagen.

 

Internal Audit is responsible for identifying, monitoring, and validating key risks and internal controls across the Pandora Group. The function supports Management in assessing financial, fraud‑related, IT, sustainability, and regulatory compliance risks and provides information and insight to the Audit Committee as part of its oversight of these risks, working closely with stakeholders across clusters and functional areas globally.

 

In this role, you will contribute to audits across Pandora’s entities and markets, supporting the execution of the annual risk‑based audit plan. The position provides exposure to a broad range of business processes, systems, and regulatory environments and offers insight into how risks and controls are applied in practice across the Group.

 

Audit work is performed both from headquarters in Copenhagen and through periodic on‑site visits to markets.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Performing validation tests and substantive audits
  • Performing process reviews, identifying potential gaps and providing suggestions on improvements  
  • Performing fraud vulnerability assessments, and validating mitigating actions
  • Supporting the review and validation of regulatory compliance controls, including Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Bribery & Corruption
  • Supporting the review of Segregation of duties and Schedule of Authority
  • Supporting investigations, including potential forensic cases and whistleblower reports
  • Reviewing travel and entertainment expenses 

 
What is needed to succeed: 
We are looking for a skilled team player who is able to strike a balance between a theoretical and a pragmatic approach.

  • 3–5 years of relevant audit experience from an external audit firm or a similar role
  • Relevant university degree within auditing, accounting, finance, or economics; professional certifications are an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex issues and draw clear conclusions
  • Ability to plan, structure, and execute audit tasks independently while contributing to team deliverables

This role is based in the Pandora Global Office in Copenhagen, Denmark. Candidates should be willing to travel approximately 5-15 days a year.
