Specialist, Global Retail Operations - Back of House

As a Specialist, Global Retail Operations (Back Of House), you will support the execution of global retail operations initiatives, contributing to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Back of House processes across markets.

 

Working as part of the Global Retail Operations and reporting to the Manager of the team, you will support defined Back Of House workstreams, helping to ensure processes are clear, practical, and consistently applied in stores. You will work closely with Senior Specialists and cross‑functional partners to improve operational efficiency, reduce non‑selling activities, and enable store teams to focus more time on the customer experience.

 

This role offers strong exposure to global retail operations, cross‑functional collaboration, and hands‑on process execution within a complex, multi‑market environment. In this role, your responsibiltiies will include:

1. Global Process Execution & Support

  • Support the execution and follow‑up of established Back of House processes and routines across markets
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining operational documentation, guidelines, and reference materials
  • Support the team in coordinating Back Of House activities and tracking execution progress

 

2. Operational Excellence

  • Contribute to the analysis of Back Of House operational challenges by collecting inputs, structuring information, and supporting follow‑up actions
  • Help gather and organize store and market feedback related to Back Of House routines and stockroom setups
  • Support minor process updates in line with predefined standards and guidance

 

3. Performance & Insights

  • Support tracking and evaluation of key performance indicators related to Back Of House activities
  • Help consolidate operational data and market feedback into structured insights
  • Contribute to reporting and insight development within BOH scope

 

4. Initiative Support

  • Support C‑related operational changes by assisting with coordination, communication, and follow‑up
  • Help ensure markets are informed and prepared for updates related to Back Of House routines
  • Track adoption and escalate questions, risks, or issues to Senior Specialists or Managers

 

5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with Senior Specialists to support collaboration with Clusters, Distribution Centers, D&T, and Customer Service
  • Act as a point of operational support for markets on defined Back Of House topics within assigned scope
  • Support clear information flow between global and local stakeholders

 

6. Communication & Implementation

  • Support documentation and communication of BOH process updates to markets
  • Contribute to rollout activities, including follow‑up and adoption tracking
  • Assist in change management activities linked to new processes, tools, and ways of working
  • Build expertise within defined Back of House topics and processes

 

What is needed to succeed

You have a flair for details, and a structured analytical mindset with the ability to work with operational data and insights. You're comfortable working cross-functionally and thrive in dynamic environments. You are proactive, well-organized, and able to multitask effectively. Most importantly, you are a collaborative person with a curious mindset and a strong willingness to learn. 

 

Additionally, we hope that you have and can demonstrate:

  • 1–3 years of experience in retail operations or similar roles, ideally in a multi‑store or multi‑market environment
  • Experience supporting process execution, operational improvements, or project initiatives
  • Good understanding of store Back of House operations and retail realities, with hands‑on retail experience is an advantage
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
