About the Role
We are looking for a Specialist, Retail Operations – Sales Floor Excellence to help develop and implement global operational standards, tools, and programs that improve Sales Floor execution, store productivity, and the customer experience.
You will take ownership of defined operational workstreams, managing them from planning through implementation within agreed scope and timelines. Working with global functions, clusters, markets, and countries, you will translate business priorities and real store needs into practical, scalable solutions that can be successfully adopted across our retail network. This role offers a high degree of autonomy within assigned areas. You will coordinate stakeholders, manage day-to-day risks and dependencies, and make operational recommendations, while escalating strategic decisions, significant risks, and material scope changes when required.
Key Responsibiltiies will include:
- Develop and continuously improve global retail standards, processes, playbooks, tools, and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to simplify store routines, reduce administrative workload, and increase customer-facing capacity.
- Ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and executable at store level.
- Manage assigned workstreams through planning, pilots, testing, implementation, and rollout.
- Coordinate stakeholders and track milestones, actions, risks, and dependencies within agreed scope and timelines.
- Gather and use feedback from stores and markets, using operational learnings to recommend adjustments and improvements.
- Support implementation and adoption plans for new processes and ways of working.
- Assess store readiness, workload, capacity, and potential execution barriers.
- Assess initiatives from a practical store-execution perspective.
- Create clear guides, playbooks, checklists, FAQs, and implementation materials for stores and markets.
- Monitor operational performance and contribute to KPI reporting, reviews, and continuous improvement priorities.
- Share operational insights and best practices across functions and markets.
- Partner with Global Retail Strategy, Global Labor, Global Inventory Process & Control Excellence, Global Retail Training, and other relevant teams.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, workshops, and operational reviews.
- Represent store needs and provide constructive, evidence-based input to global initiatives.
What is needed to succeed
- Extensive hands-on retail store experience and a strong understanding of Sales Floor execution, customer experience, store routines, workload, inventory, and productivity.
- Experience implementing or improving retail processes, standards, tools, or ways of working.
- Experience coordinating projects, pilots, rollouts, or change initiatives.
- Ability to translate store challenges into practical, scalable solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience across different stores, markets, retail formats, or organizations is an advantage
