Senior Specialist, Tactical Planning
Are you passionate about turning complex supply chain data into actionable decisions that drive business performance? Join Pandora's Global Supply Chain team and play a critical role in shaping our mid-term supply outlook, balancing demand, capacity, and production readiness across our global network!
About the Role
As our Tactical Planning Senior Specialist for Midterm Planning, you will act as the link between long-term S&OP decision-making and short-term execution, ensuring we can fulfil demand while proactively managing supply, capacity, production, and material constraints. Working closely with stakeholders across Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Craft & Supply, you will help secure product availability, inventory health, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Own and govern the weekly mid-term S&OP process across the 3-9+ month planning horizon
- Assess capacity utilisation, backlog development, demand trends, and supply risks to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Drive network optimisation and site rebalancing decisions, including insourcing and outsourcing opportunities
- Identify and mitigate production constraints related to skills, suppliers, raw materials, and capacity
- Ensure supply readiness across new product launches, core assortment, and commercial initiatives
- Provide data-driven recommendations on prioritisation, demand adjustments, launch timing, and product mix
- Develop and govern pre-build strategies to optimise capacity and improve future supply readiness
- Support issue resolution when challenges move into the execution horizon by analysing root causes and recovery scenarios
- Facilitate cross-functional decision-making, leading the Mid-Term S&OP forum and supporting Executive S&OE discussions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, planning capabilities, governance, tools, and reporting
What is needed to succeed
You combine strong analytical thinking with a practical and solution-oriented mindset. You thrive in complex environments, communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, and are comfortable challenging assumptions to drive better business outcomes. You are naturally curious, continuously looking for ways to improve processes, tools, and ways of working while contributing to a more agile and responsive supply chain.
Additionally, we hope that you have and can demonstrate:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience within Tactical Planning, S&OP, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Capacity Planning, Production Planning, or similar areas
- Experience operating in a global, matrixed organisation, ideally within retail or FMCG
- Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario modelling, risk assessment, supply-demand balancing, and decision support
- Proven ability to drive alignment and influence stakeholders across operational, leadership, and senior management levels
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives and working with planning systems and tools
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar analytics tools
- Experience with planning platforms such as o9, Logility, or similar
