Senior Specialist, Portfolio Management - Interim

City:  Copenhagen V
Country/Region:  DK
Application Deadline:  July 22nd, 2026

Do you want to be a part of the world’s leading jewellery company while putting your analytical skills into use to enable proactive decisions in Digital & Technology? If yes, then we might have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a Senior Specialist to join our Portfolio Management team on a 12-month maternity cover.

You will join an international organisation of can-do spirited, passionate, and performance-driven people. We value flexibility, an energized atmosphere and treasure our informal, independent working style. You are trusted to deliver in a setting where answers are not already given but can be found in collaboration with others.

About the Team

We continue to strengthen our Portfolio Management team, a part of the larger Strategy, Portfolio & Partnering team – a passionate team of thinkers, makers, and doers focused on strategy development, portfolio management and business partnering across Digital & Technology - linking Pandora’s strategy to execution.

Our portfolio spans initiatives, projects, and programs delivered through agile and traditional methodologies. We work directly with business colleagues, senior stakeholders, and digital and technology teams to develop and maintain our portfolio and governance framework, ensuring alignment with Pandora’s strategic priorities.

We are on a mission to provide leadership with clear insights on investments, capacity, risks, and dependencies, and facilitate complex cross-domain decisions to mitigate risks and optimise for the best business outcomes.

Your Role as Senior Specialist, Portfolio Management

As part of the Portfolio Management team, you are the analytical engine behind our portfolio decisions. You don’t just work with data. You dig into it, challenge it, and turn it into intelligence that drives active decisions across D&T’s portfolio. You will work at DTLT level, presenting directly to VPs and SVPs, and play an active role in lifting and maturing a function that is at an exciting inflection point.

You will:

  • Be the analytical backbone of the function. Interrogate portfolio data deeply enough to know when something doesn’t add up. Spot patterns, surface trends, find the holes in the cheese and work collaboratively with Delivery Directors and domains to ensure that leadership is presented with insights that reflect reality, not just what was reported.
  • Own the portfolio narrative. Translate complex, imperfect data into clear, actionable stories. You don’t just compile the health report. You own the insight within it and make sure leadership knows what to pay attention to and why.
  • Connect the dots across domains and act as the central integrator. Bring analytical rigor to risk, dependency and capacity conversations. You see the cross-domain picture that others cannot see from within their own area, and you make that visible ensuring a coherent view of the portfolio and supporting consistent decision-making across D&T.
  • Evolve how we analyse. Continuously improve how Portfolio Management collects, visualises and uses data. Explore AI and automation to reduce manual effort and sharpen the quality of insights.
  • Own reporting production today. While the function matures, you keep the reporting rhythm reliable. This is a means to an end, not the job itself.

What is needed to succeed

  • Ability to operate independently and with autonomy. You are comfortable finding your own way forward in ambiguous situations, without detailed guidance, and bringing others along with you.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex, imperfect data into clear and actionable insights. Experience in portfolio, program, or project analysis within a technology or digital environment.
  • A pragmatic analyst who thrives in complexity. You don’t need clean data to find a clear insight.
  • Financial acumen with experience linking scope, capacity, and investment decisions. You can challenge budget composition and connect financial data to portfolio priorities.
  • Deep curiosity about how technology initiatives connect and impact each other. You are willing to get into the content, not just the numbers.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and automation. You actively explore how AI can make analysis faster, smarter and more reliable and you bring that curiosity into how the team works.
  • Ability to collaborate, challenge and manage stakeholders effectively. You work confidently across D&T leadership, building trust while pushing back when the data tells a different story.
  • Excellent communication skills. You can present insights and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders and know how to make data tell a story.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI or similar) and MS Office (PowerPoint).
