At Pandora, we are looking for an experienced Head of Group Financial Controlling to join our Global Headquarters in Copenhagen.

In this key leadership role within Group Reporting & Accounting, you will define and drive the direction of Group Financial Controlling across Pandora, ensuring high-quality, transparent, and compliant financial reporting while continuously improving governance, processes, and ways of working across Finance.

You will join a highly skilled Group Finance organization responsible for consolidation, controlling, and external reporting across Pandora's global operations. The role combines technical accounting expertise, people leadership, and the opportunity to drive consistency, transparency, and continuous improvement across the Group.

Leading a team of four experienced professionals, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, including Cluster Finance Directors, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Tax, Treasury, and the SVP Corporate Finance. In doing so, you will act as a trusted partner on complex accounting, reporting, and controlling matters across the organization.

This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on Pandora's Finance organization. You will help shape how Group Financial Controlling evolves in a global business, gain broad exposure to senior leadership, and build a strong network across the Group. For the right candidate, the role offers an excellent platform for long-term leadership growth and career development within Pandora.

Key Responsibilities

As Head of Group Financial Controlling, you will:

  • Define and drive the strategic direction for Group Financial Controlling, including policies, standards, governance, and ways of working across the Group.
  • Ensure a strong and consistent controlling framework with high-quality, transparent, and IFRS-compliant reporting.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing controlling team.
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including Group consolidation and financial reporting.
  • Partner with Cluster Finance Directors and key stakeholders to resolve complex accounting and controlling matters.
  • Provide guidance on IFRS and accounting matters across the Group.
  • Drive continuous improvement, simplification, and standardization of processes, including exploring new technologies and AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Support senior management with clear financial insights and communication of key risks and developments.
  • Take joint responsibility for improving and optimizing procedures to support faster closing processes and greater quality and transparency in financial reporting.

A Strong Finance Leader with a Solution-Oriented Mindset and a “Can-Do” Attitude

At Pandora, we recognize that it takes winning personalities to create winning cultures. We are looking for a strong finance leader with deep technical expertise, strong stakeholder management skills, and a collaborative mindset:

  • You bring a strong combination of technical accounting expertise, leadership experience, and business understanding.
  • You have solid experience from a similar role within Group Finance in a large international organization, ideally combined with a background in audit.
  • You have a strong understanding of IFRS and Group reporting, as well as a proven ability to translate technical requirements into practical and scalable solutions.
  • You are a strong people leader who creates clarity, trust, and high team performance.
  • You are structured, analytical, and solution-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • You are comfortable working in a complex international environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • You communicate clearly and effectively and are able to translate complex topics into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Finally, we work in a fast-paced environment with many competing priorities, and the ability to focus on what matters most is critical to success in this role.

In Addition, We Would Like You to Have

  • A master’s degree in Finance, preferably within Business Administration and Auditing.
  • Solid experience within financial controlling, supported by a strong accounting foundation. Experience with Group consolidation in international organizations is considered an advantage.
  • An analytical and logical approach, with the ability to critically assess and challenge information.
  • Strong knowledge of the technical aspects of IFRS, combined with a passion for staying up to date.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Professional-level written and spoken English.
