Senior Manager, Global Operations (12‑month Maternity Cover)

Do you thrive in fast‑moving environments where cross‑functional collaboration is key? We're looking for an Interim Senior Manager, Global Operations, to join us for a 12‑month maternity cover, a role where you will have real influence on how we operate across regions and channels and help elevate our customer experience globally. 

This is a unique opportunity to step into a central role on a global stage and drive high‑impact initiatives during an exciting phase of transformation. 

 

What You Will Lead & Drive 

 

  • Lead a team of operations specialist, analyst and managers including 1to1’s, goals and development conversations  

  • Lead our global “Peak Readiness” process, aligning regions and functions, and delivering clear, executive‑ready reporting for VP/SVP leadership 

  • Operations - Lead on implementing various commercial initiatives to support our customer experience on eCom (i.e. service offerings, online engraving, packaging, transactional gift cards and more)  

  • Collaborate with others towards data-driven decision making and overlook data validation, ensuring data, reporting, and governance support the right decisions 

  • Bring clarity and structure across regions, channels, and functions (B2C, B2B, logistics, fulfillment, customer relations, POSM, services) 

  • Be the trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, supporting them with data, insights, and operational feasibility guidance 

  • Maintain strong cross‑functional relationships with Digital Operations, Digital & Technology, Omni Operations Product Line, Regional Operations, Retail Excellence, and more 

  • Contribute to shaping medium- and long‑term operations strategy, combining internal insights with external trends 

  • Drive global standardization by owning and developing our Cross‑Regional Best Practice Teams ensuring we operate as one global network 

 

 

What Success Looks Like 

 

  • Strong alignment and engagement across global and regional operations with clear views of deliverables and priorities  

  • Clear, consistent global standards embedded across teams 

  • Reliable, actionable reporting for senior leadership 

  • Smooth coordination of major operational moments, especially peak periods 

  • Strengthened collaboration between Operations, Digital Operations, and D&T 

 

What You Bring 

 

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, warehousing or related fields 

  • Experience in global or HQ‑level roles is a bonus 

  • A structured, analytical, data driven mindset with the ability to simplify complexity and connect data insights to commercial decision‑making 

  • A continuous improvement mindset, you see opportunities, not obstacles 

  • Ability to build strong relationships across functions and seniority levels 

  • Proactive, flexible, collaborative, and comfortable with change  

  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach, balancing strategic perspective with hands on execution. 

  • Experience leading teams, coaching talent, and driving performance. 

  • Fluent English and strong command of Excel & PowerPoint 

  • Lean/Six Sigma is a plus 

 

Please note this role covers a global landscape and therefore odd hours may be applicable during different timings of the year.
