We are looking for an experienced Senior Designer to join our Modern Classics & Diamonds team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, bringing creative expertise and immediate impact to one of Pandora's key jewellery categories.

Create the next generation of Modern Classics & Diamonds

As our Senior Designer, Modern Classics & Diamonds, you will work closely with the Design Director and wider design team to develop creative projects from initial concept through design execution and prototype development.

Drawing on your creative vision, technical expertise and understanding of Pandora's brand DNA, you will help develop compelling, commercially relevant collections that combine timeless elegance with modern expression and inspire customers around the world.

Your Role

Design & Collection Development

  • Partner with the team to create and develop new collections within the Modern Classics & Diamonds category.
  • Translate creative briefs into innovative product concepts, designs and sketches aligned with Pandora's brand identity.
  • Lead individual design projects from research and concept development through CAD and prototype stages.
  • Propose original and future-thinking product ideas supporting the strategic direction of the category.
  • Develop mood boards, concept presentations, creative sketches and technical drawings to support product development.
  • Review CADs and provide clear and comprehensive creative feedback within agreed timelines.
  • Brief products to Design Operations & Development (DoD) and collaborate closely to ensure successful prototype execution.
  • Review early prototypes and contribute to formal prototype reviews and creative evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Creative Sourcing to explore new materials, techniques and innovation opportunities.
  • Partner with Creative Merchandising to align category and collection structures.
  • Maintain accurate design documentation, inspiration references and project records throughout the design process.
  • Support and mentor Junior Designers, providing creative and technical guidance.
  • Ensure projects are developed and delivered according to agreed timelines and requirements.

Research & Innovation

  • Conduct research based on briefs from Creative Leadership and translate insights into strong creative concepts.
  • Participate in research activities and trips to identify emerging trends, products, techniques, materials and creative inspiration.
  • Contribute ideas for new concepts, innovation opportunities and future category directions.
  • Keep design presentations updated with relevant concepts, sketches and final designs throughout project development.

A Creative Visionary with a Passion for Jewellery

You combine exceptional creativity with strong technical expertise and an instinct for commercially relevant product design. You know how to take an idea from inspiration and early sketches through to a beautifully resolved piece of jewellery.

You understand how to balance innovation with the DNA of an established global brand and are comfortable moving between creative exploration and the technical realities of product development.

As this is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity, we are particularly looking for someone who can quickly become part of the team, confidently take ownership of projects and contribute from day one.

  • Significant experience designing jewellery within a jewellery, luxury, fashion or accessories brand.
  • A strong creative portfolio demonstrating concept development, mood boards, sketches and finished products.
  • Proven experience taking design projects from concept through CAD and prototype development.
  • Strong knowledge of jewellery design, craftsmanship, materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Exceptional hand-sketching and visual communication skills.
  • Experience working with CAD development and cross-functional product development teams.
  • Ability to translate creative direction into distinctive and commercially relevant products.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within an international environment.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior designers is an advantage.
