Senior Manager, Global Functions D&T Finance
Do you want to play a lead role in shaping our digital and technology investments? Are you an exceptional business partner with a passion for driving impact in Finance? If so, this exciting opportunity could be the perfect fit for you! Influence our annual investments, including investments in AI, and drive P&L and Capital spend management to drive maximum impact. We are looking for a finance professional who can lead a team to provide financial transparency to the activities and projects in the area. You will work closely with key Digital and Technology leadership team, supporting in delivery and strategic direction. As the Senior Manager for D&T Finance, you will lead a team of business partners responsible for the actual reporting and planning agenda for digital and technology, providing timely and accurate monthly reporting and acting as trusted partners facilitating decision-making by providing actionable insights, reports and recommendations. You will be part the Global Function finance team that embed a strong cost mindset. There will be collaboration with Commercial Finance, Group FP&A and business stakeholders across the company, ensuring strong and efficient reporting and planning processes for Global Office.
This is a high pace role with considerable senior stakeholder visibility. There will be ample opportunity to define and develop the role. It reports into the Director, Global Functions Finance with team leadership responsibility.
We are looking for a person who brings a strong business partnering toolbox, being passionate about value creation and has a relentless mindset of constantly improving and streamlining, both from a process and technology perspective ensuring we have an accurate, streamlined and agile processes.
Key Competencies
- Ensure strong finance business partnering for our Digital and Technology leadership team, supporting but also challenging them in how we deliver outcome & value
- Drive process and tooling improvements to enable efficiencies in areas such as Month-End Close, forecast updates, Target Setting and ongoing reporting.
- Support the Long-Range Planning and budget processes for Digital and Technology
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of experience within Finance in a large global business with a focus on reporting & analytics and/or planning & forecasting. Both is preferable
- Demonstrated ability to business partner and influence
- Understanding of accounting treatment for capital expenditure
- Managerial experience
- A degree in Finance, Economics or similar
- Exceptional Excel skills to model & simulate different scenarios
- Experience from the retail, fashion or FMCG industry (is a plus)
