Consumer Insights Manager - Portfolio & Innovation Insights

 

Are you passionate about turning consumer understanding into product magic? As Portfolio & Innovation Insights Manager within our global Consumer Insights function, you will play a pivotal role in embedding the voice of consumer into Pandora’s product innovation and portfolio strategy. Your work will ensure that our new product development (NPD) and collection architecture are deeply rooted in consumer needs, desires, and behaviours.

You will partner closely with Product organization to deliver insight‑led recommendations that shape our global portfolio. In this role you help Pandora build collections that connect with consumers.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the consumer driven insight agenda for collection architecture, assortment planning, and product innovation.
  • Identify consumer driven opportunity spaces and integrate cultural, category, and behavioural trends to guide early stage innovation and concept development.
  • Drive the full product testing funnel, including idea screening, concept testing, and product validation, and translate results into clear recommendations.
  • Drive the pricing consumer insights program and integrate market and competitive signals into launching and pricing decisions.
  • Monitor postlaunch product performance and identify opportunities for portfolio optimisation.
  • Manage and develop Insights specialists, elevating research quality, storytelling, and methodological standards.
  • Champion continuous improvement across product testing, pricing research, and integrated insights.

 

Key Skills 

 

  • 8+ years of experience in consumer insights, preferably within product innovation or portfolio strategy.
  • Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Experience in concept testing, product validation, innovation funnel management, and pricing methods.
  • Excellent storytelling and strategic framing skills, with the ability to turn data into compelling narratives.
  • Strong project leadership with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Behavioural Science, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Proficiency in English (written & spoken); experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and insight/data visualisation tools.
