Director, Group Strategy - Interim

Develop and drive complex strategic projects
Together with the Global Strategy & Business Development Team, you will develop the function to drive the strategic growth agenda in Pandora. You will lead a strong team and together drive large and complex strategic projects across the organisation to deliver future growth. The role reports into the Vice President of Strategy & Business Development and is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Your key areas of responsibility will be to:

Co-lead and orchestrate the development/finalization of our corporate strategy; support executive leadership team in shaping strategic choices and priorities

Lead intriguing strategic projects from scoping to executive decisions – in an environment with many stakeholders involved, many sub-workstreams / deliverables and high cross-functional project management requirements

Manage intriguing projects as internal project lead and analytical problem solver to ensure successful delivery and internal anchoring across the business

Support strategy communication and cascading, internally and externally

Drive Board meeting material preparation & coordination

Translate market and competitor insights into strategic challenges and implications

Support CEO priorities and ad hoc analyses

Present key findings to senior leadership with impact

Lead, coach and develop team members in the Global Strategy & Business Development Team
Proactive, visionary and structured leader
We are looking for a professional who thrives in a dynamic, changing and fast-paced environment. You have a proactive, humble and ambitious attitude, and we envision that you are a team player who is keen to make the team and Pandora succeed together as a group. You have proven team leadership skills and strong skills which gives you the ability to develop your team and the wider Business Development function.
You have strong analytical mind-set based on quantitative and qualitative skills, and you have the ability to transfer this knowledge to others in a structured and simple way through good story telling, problem-solving and detail-oriented material reviews.
Furthermore, we hope to see that you can demonstrate:

Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Top Management Consulting and/or from an in-house strategy unit in a larger company

Minimum 2 years of experience as a people manager for a team of min. 3-4 people
-
Experience from a consumer oriented company (e.g. FMCG, retail, branded consumer goods etc.) is considered an advantage.

Speaks and writes English fluently (language capabilities in one of our key markets will be an advantage.

Strong project management skills

Tech-savviness with excellent skills in PowerPoint and Excel allowing you to ensure high-quality products
