Pandora is looking for a dynamic and business-savvy Associate Specialist, RTR Accountant in Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico

 

Main purpose of the role:

 

Ensure that all closing activities are processed timely with efficiency and quality according to predefined standards.

 

Handle and take ownership of queries from internal/external partners in a timely manner. Support and mentoring for GL accountants.

 

  • Perform asset management accounting
  • Post and reconcile payroll accounts
  • Process GL journal entries
  • Perform closing activities
  • Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts
  • Prepare Annual Financial Statements in cooperation with outsourcing partner
  • Statistical reporting
  • Perform internal controls – timely, accurately
  • Cooperation with internal/external partners
  • Preparation of audit tasks, timely handling audit queries
  • Deliver service in line with agreed controls, policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements regarding quality and productivity
  • Participation in global/local projects
  • Maintain relevant Work Instructions and process maps up to date.
  • Close cooperation with Financial Controller and RTR Team Leader
  • Support and mentoring for GL accountants
  • Provide trainings

 

What We Are Looking For: 

 

  • Master Degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with accounting
  • Knowledge of ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly in MS Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Proactive,
  • Strong team player
  • Fluent English
