About the role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist, Process Engineer to improve manufacturing processes, product quality, productivity, cost, and process stability.

You will apply Lean engineering, Six Sigma, statistical analysis, and structured problem-solving tools to daily production challenges. The role involves reviewing existing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, leading root cause investigations, and implementing sustainable solutions across manufacturing operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for quality, productivity, cost, lead-time, and waste improvement.
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to daily engineering activities and improvement projects.
  • Use statistical analysis to evaluate process performance, variation, trends, and improvement results.
  • Lead structured problem solving using DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, SPC, process capability, and DOE.
  • Investigate recurring defects, scrap, rework, RCI, and RMA issues, then implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Lead process and quality improvement projects from problem identification through implementation and benefits validation.
  • Conduct or support FMEA and process-risk assessments.
  • Evaluate new technologies, automation, materials, equipment, and alternative manufacturing solutions.
  • Standardize successful improvements through process controls, procedures, documentation, and training.
  • Coach production and engineering teams in Lean, Six Sigma, statistical analysis, and problem-solving methods.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and suppliers.
  • Ensure process changes comply with safety, environmental, ISO, and OHSE requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, production engineering, quality engineering, or continuous improvement.
  • Proven experience reviewing existing processes and delivering measurable process or quality improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, statistical analysis, and structured problem solving.
  • Experience with FMEA, SPC, process capability analysis, DMAIC, and DOE.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Minitab or equivalent statistical software.
  • Power BI experience is an advantage.
  • Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Good written and spoken English.
