- Ensure to deliver quality issues report on time by controlling the KPI team.
- Responsible for checking test request carefully and ensure that all details have been filled in, sufficient samples are provided and check the condition of sample as received states. Contact the requestor for any query arises.
- Perform the daily assigned test duties according to the standard procedures with due consideration of the job priority and record test results in the correct format and prepare the draft report.
- Preparing the sample and performing the tests – mechanical and material analysis by SEM/EDX, OM, XRF, Hardness, colorimetric and cross sectioning.
- One development or new test method project/ year.
- Responsible for machine cleaning, equipment calibration/maintenance duties, etc.
- Responsible for sample handling including storage and disposal, and related documentation.
- Perform any other assignments as required by the superior.
- Responsible for maintaining the environmental conditions and keep the testing area clean and tidy.
- Ensure the quality system ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and ISO/IEC 17025 to be implemented & complied accordingly.
We love that you are…
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, Metallurgical Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Physical Analysis or Failure Analysis Laboratory.
- Hands-on experience in operating SEM/EDX equipment and cross-section analysis.
- Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds and laboratory experience are welcome to apply.
- Good understanding of laboratory testing principles and material characterization techniques.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with a flexible working attitude.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn new technologies and testing methods.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
