Senior Manager, Local Facilities Services (BB)
Key objectives:
o Provide plants with sufficient machine, heating, ventilation, and air coditioning (HVAC), and utility engineering capabilities to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
o Ensure effective and optimal operations of machines, utilities, and other general facilities within production plants.
o Ensure compliance in relation to SHE and local laws.
o Ensure smooth operations of plant Security and General Service, e.g., security system, office cleaning, landscaping, and other facility-related services.
o Ensure the alignment with relevant standrards from shared services functions, e.g., Sustainablity, Industry standards bodies (ISO, LEED,Insurance, Disney), SHE, and Risk Management.
Key duties:
Set strategic direction
• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for local FM to align with the organization’s overall goals and strategies.
• Regularly assess and adjust operational plan to ensure they are in line with evolving business objectives.
Define standards and manuals
Ensure local operations are in accordance to standard operating procedures for Machine and Utility maintenance, SHE, Local Compliance, Security and General Service.
Operate and execute
1. Maintenance Leadership:
• Develop and implement strategic maintenance plans to optimize facility performance.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring efficient problem resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for prioritizing and executing maintenance projects.
2. SHE Oversight:
• Establish and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental policies in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
• Provide guidance on incident response and emergency preparedness.
3. Local Compliance Management:
• Stay informed on local regulations, ensuring company-wide compliance with legal requirements.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance and address any issues.
• Develop and execute compliance training programs for employees.
4. Sustainability Collaboration:
• Interface with the Center for Sustainability to integrate environmentally friendly practices into maintenance operations.
• Support sustainability initiatives through cooperation with the shared service in the center.
• Monitor and report on sustainability metrics to demonstrate organizational commitment.
5. Standards Integration:
• Collaborate with industry standards bodies such as ISO, LEED, Disney and other relevant entities.
• Ensure alignment with standard requirements for quality, safety, and environmental practices.
• Facilitate the integration of standards into daily operations and compliance procedures.
6. Security and General Services Optimization:
• Oversee and optimize security and general services such as security system, office cleaning, landscaping, and other facility-related services.
• Collaborate with external service providers to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of general services.
Drive continuous improvements
• Conduct employee satisfaction assessment to understand needs and recommend tangible improvements.
• Invest in the professional development of the maintenance, SHE, General service and sustainability team, creating opportunities for skill enhancement.
• Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, fostering and strong sense of team engagement.
