Engineering Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers, lead engineers, QA engineers, and application support engineer.
- Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and career development plans.

- Build critical engineering capabilities in cloud, AI-assisted engineering, software development, industrial integration, and DevSecOps.
- Drive employee engagement, succession planning, talent retention, and capability growth.
Engineering Delivery & Execution
- Own engineering delivery and technical execution of Manufacturing Technology initiatives.
- Ensure delivery commitments are achieved on time, within budget, and with required quality standards.
- Support large-scale manufacturing transformation programmes, platform upgrades, and business improvement initiatives.
- Manage engineering capacity, sprint execution, resource allocation, and delivery risks.
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Solution Architects to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
Manufacturing Applications & Digital Factory Platforms
- Lead development and support activities across Manufacturing Technology platforms, including MES/SAP DM, machine connectivity, industrial integrations, manufacturing applications, and supporting digital factory solutions.
- Ensure solutions remain scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.
- Drive platform modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure effective lifecycle management of applications and integrations.
DevSecOps & Engineering Excellence
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, including: CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Automated testing, DevSecOps, AI-assisted software development
- Establish engineering standards, coding standards, reusable frameworks, and technical playbooks.
- Continuously improve development productivity, deployment frequency, quality, and operational performance.
- Promote engineering automation to reduce manual effort and improve service quality.
Operational Stability & Service Reliability
- Accountable for application availability, service performance, and operational support readiness.
- Ensure effective incident, problem, and change management practices.
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of major incidents.
- Drive proactive reduction of recurring incidents and technical debt.
- Ensure recovery, resilience, monitoring, and support processes are regularly reviewed and tested.
Technical Governance & Architecture Compliance
- Ensure engineering solutions comply with:
- Enterprise Architecture standards
- Security requirements
- Data governance policies
- Integration standards
- Software engineering standards
- Partner with Solution Architects to review solution designs and technical implementation approaches.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness are delivered.
Cyber Security & Risk Management
- Embed Security-by-Design practices throughout software development and operations.
- Ensure vulnerability remediation targets are achieved.
- Support compliance, audit, and risk mitigation activities.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security teams to address emerging threats and security requirements.
- Drive secure software supply chain and dependency management practices.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage engineering delivery performed by external vendors and strategic partners.
- Ensure partner output meets Pandora's quality, security, and operational standards.
- Review technical deliverables, solution quality, and adherence to engineering practices.
- Establish measurable KPIs and continuous improvement expectations for partners.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science / Information Technology
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, integration engineering, or enterprise technology delivery.
- 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including people management, coaching, performance management, and capability development.
- Proven experience delivering and supporting enterprise-scale business applications and digital platforms.
- Experience managing engineering roadmaps, technical backlogs, and delivery execution in Agile environments.
- Experience working with both internal engineering teams and external technology partners.
- Experience operating in a global, matrix, or cross-functional organization.
- Exposure to manufacturing technology, digital manufacturing, industrial systems, or factory operations is advantageous.
- Demonstrated understanding of:
- Modern software engineering practices and SDLC.
- Cloud-native application development and cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
- APIs, system integration, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
- CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices.
- Application monitoring, observability, reliability, and operational support models.
- Security-by-design principles and secure software development lifecycle.
- Enterprise integration patterns and data exchange frameworks.
- AI-assisted software development and developer productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, AI coding assistants).
- Experience leading engineering teams supporting global manufacturing operations.
- Experience managing mission-critical production systems with high availability requirements.
