Officer, Tooling Improvement (AAA)

 Main purpose of the role:

In the role of coordinator, to ensure that the tool shop has enough materials to produce tools and jigs and fixtures to satisfy all requests, and accountable for complating the registeration drawing.

Key accountabilities:

Tools, Jigs, fixtures and Mechanical skills

• Support E2E process for new innovation tools of each department (II&PD, PEX, Production, C&SQ, other).
• Support an improvement project on machine parts and machine modification per assigned.

Machine operating and Software operating

• Support team for developing facility layout and product drawings by using specific software, such as AutoCAD and ZW3D or per assigned.
• Support an improvement project on machine parts and machine modification per assigned.

• Discuss final design and make fabricate part by use standard program assembly and test function tool.
• Ensure that tools and Jig & fixture are produced by using a suitable machine, or CNC 3X, CNC Lathe, Milling machine per assigned.  
• Operating machine by using CAD/CAM and ZW3D per assigned.

Collaboration and Documentation

• Cooperate with requester for ensure delivery plan is match and suitable for production plan.
• Prepare a report for update status and progress to superior and manager.
• Monitor and collaborate with team to ensure all drawings are prepare correctly and registered.
• Review documentation for manufacturing standard of work for those machines that used in tool shop.
• Evaluate data collection system, makes recommendations and updates.
• Monitor material in stock then plan and proceed for PR/PO for material purchasing or per assigned.
• Conduct special task per assigned.
