Job Description

Prepare inspection methods for verifying Product Master (PM), including defining inspection points and selecting appropriate measuring instruments for each point
Review and correct PM drawings to ensure dimensional accuracy, tolerances, and acceptance criteria aligned with manufacturing capabilities
Establish key control characteristics and align them with inspection plans and methods
Design and develop suitable gauges and tools, ensuring timely completion
Drive improvement of inspection techniques by shifting from attribute-based to variable data for more reliable and objective decision-making
Monitor and follow up on inspection results during pre-production and production phases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve inspection processes
Enhance inspection data collection methods to ensure accuracy and reliability

Qualifications

Diploma, High Vocational Certificate, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Industrial field, or related disciplines
At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or quality inspection processes
Experience in jewellery manufacturing is an advantage
Ability to read and interpret 2D technical drawings
Knowledge of selecting appropriate measuring tools and inspection methods
Understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
