The Innovation Quality Officer plays a key role in supporting the execution and governance of quality activities within innovation projects and special initiatives. The position is primarily technical in nature (approximately 70%), ensuring robust quality oversight, risk assessment, compliance alignment, data integrity, and structured documentation throughout the innovation lifecycle.
In addition, the role carries a strong communication component (approximately 30%), acting as a proactive liaison across cross-functional teams to ensure clarity, alignment, and transparency in quality-related matters. The officer translates technical quality requirements and data insights into clear, actionable communication that supports decision-making and stakeholder engagement.

1. Quality Oversight & Facilitation

- Support the planning, execution, and follow-up of quality activities within innovation projects, ensuring alignment with C&S and CPH teams.
- Maintain and continuously improve the innovation testing dashboard, ensuring accurate tracking of milestones, risks, and deliverables.
- Prepare structured reports summarizing assessments, technical findings, guidelines, and key action points.
- Facilitate clear communication of technical quality requirements and outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders.
2. Quality Control & Risk Management
(Technical depth with proactive escalation and alignment)
- Support technical risk assessments related to materials, processes, and new product introductions, escalating concerns where appropriate.
- Monitor and track quality deliverables to ensure timely follow-ups and seamless project handovers.
- Collaborate with CQ and MQC teams to provide structured data and technical insights related to innovations and material changes.
- Translate risk findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
3. Testing & Compliance
(Core technical responsibility area)
- Support the definition, coordination, and tracking of testing plans in collaboration with IQE and CQ Lab.
- Ensure alignment on applicable quality standards, inspection criteria, technical specifications, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in reviewing test results, identifying trends, and ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
- Contribute to maintaining compliance with internal standards and global regulatory requirements.
4. Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement
(Technical analysis with communicative impact)
- Compile technical insights from innovation projects, tracking lessons learned and supporting benchmarking activities.
- Organize and analyze test data to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare concise, stakeholder-ready reports that translate technical findings into clear business implications.
5. Logistics & Execution
(Operational support with structured coordination)
- Coordinate sample distributions, ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
- Collect and consolidate feedback to support quality recommendations, including Go/No-Go decisions.
- Provide structured administrative and process support to ensure smooth execution of innovation quality activities.
