New Material Transition Management

  • Lead material transition projects from current materials to new materials across production and supply chain operations.

  • Drive phase-in and phase-out strategies to ensure seamless material conversion without impacting production continuity.

  • Align transition plans and timelines with GSC, I&PD, Procurement, Production, Engineering, Quality, and other key stakeholders.

  • Ensure planning readiness for new materials, including planning parameters, system setup, and inventory strategies.  

Demand, Supply & Purchase Planning Alignment

  • Collaborate with GSC and cross-functional stakeholders to align demand forecasts, supply requirements, and transition plans.

  • Develop and manage material purchase plans to support production requirements while aligning with corporate hedging strategies and targets.

  • Balance inventory requirements between outgoing and incoming materials to avoid shortages, excess inventory, and obsolescence.

  • Ensure material availability while optimizing inventory investment and working capital performance.

Inventory Governance, Working Capital & Financial Planning

  • Govern inventory levels to maintain optimal coverage and support business continuity.

  • Monitor and manage inventory exposure during material transitions, including excess and obsolete (E&O) risks.

  • Lead inventory optimization initiatives, inventory disposition plans.

  • Develop inventory projections and material outlooks to support financial forecasting, budgeting, hedging activities, and working capital planning.

  • Partner with Finance to provide visibility on inventory value, transition impacts, and inventory-related risks.

  • Ensure inventory accuracy and planning parameter alignment within ERP systems.

  • Govern raw material consignment inventory for both in-house manufacturing and contract manufacturing operations, ensuring material availability, inventory accuracy, and effective working capital management.

Cross-functional Alignment & Project Governance

  • Act as the key coordinator across GSC, I&PD, Procurement, Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Operations to ensure successful material transitions.

  • Facilitate governance reviews to track project milestones, inventory exposure, supply readiness, and risk mitigation actions.

  • Drive decision-making and stakeholder alignment on transition priorities and implementation plans.

  • Establish and monitor consignment inventory strategies, replenishment plans, and stock policies to support both internal production and external manufacturing requirements.

Risk Management & Performance Monitoring

  • Identify and assess risks related to material availability, forecast changes, transition timing, inventory exposure, and capacity constraints.

  • Develop mitigation and contingency plans to safeguard production continuity and business commitments.

  • Monitor and report key performance indicators related to material transition, inventory health, Fill Rate on Time, and Target.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material planning effectiveness and transition governance processes.

 

We love that you are…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain & Logistics Management, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced certifications are a plus

  • Experience managing material transition, new product introduction (NPI), or phase-in/phase-out activities is preferred.

  • Strong analytical, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory planning processes.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines with a solution-oriented mindset

  • Strong sense of accountability, with the ability to work independently and manage stakeholders effectively

  • Good command of Thai and English
