Manager, Consumer Engineering lab
Key accountabilities:
Operation Management:
• Drive reporting of product performance with test results to enhance product quality in Innovation phase, cycle development phase and mass production
• Define and standardize testing procedures and acceptance criteria
• Develop new testing to replicate failure items from the market
• Control failure analysis to find root cause and lead action from product development and manufacturing
• Ensure to deliver testing result ontime
• Improve capability and capacity on testing laboratorys
• Execute and follow the relevant compliance regarding the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and ISO/IEC 17025 to ensure our testing meet worldwide standard
• Prepare highlight Inspection quality result & Quality issue to C&SQ and Key stakeholder team for support risk assessment , Red flag and Lesson learned, During E2E brand process Gate.
• Gathering feedback from pre-production & plant quality for continous improvement
Consumer centricity:
• Ensure testing method and testing criteria to detect failure mode from consumer
• Coordinate with concerned team to clear communication on testing result and criteria to support RMA/RCI activities
Financial results:
• Ensure lab testing costs in line with budgets
Inspirational leadership:
• Support direct reports in developing knowledge, skills, and abilities in the interest of performance improvement and employee’s career development.
Qualification
• 5+ years of experience in in material and consumer product testing
• Major role and responsibility for product quality validation and lab service
• Manufacturing, testing laboratory environment and management level in jewellery industry are preferred
