The Product Director, Manufacturing Transformation is responsible for the strategic leadership and end‑to‑end ownership of Pandora’s global manufacturing technology portfolio. This senior product role drives the vision, development, and scaling of smart factory capabilities — spanning IoT integration, connected systems, and AI‑enabled manufacturing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Business Value Realization
Translate strategic objectives into outcomes by aligning the product roadmap with business goals. Partner closely with functional leaders to define value, track realization, and ensure measurable impact.

Shape the Strategic Product Roadmap
Develop and continuously refine a multi‑year roadmap that accelerates Pandora’s manufacturing transformation. Ensure prioritization, alignment, and timely execution across initiatives.

Strengthen Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Build trusted partnerships across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, digital teams, and leadership. Anticipate and manage interdependencies to drive cohesive delivery and shared success.

Accelerate Product Adoption
Champion user engagement and adoption by demonstrating tangible business value. Identify friction points in user experience and remove barriers to ensure smooth onboarding and usage.

Enhance Product Stability and Maturity
Secure necessary funding, capacity, and prioritization to drive a stable and scalable technology landscape. Collaborate with engineering to evolve toward a target architecture — reducing technical debt, simplifying the ecosystem, and strengthening platform resilience

Manufacturing Transformation Technology Strategy & Governance

  • Own the multi-year Manufacturing Technology product strategy and roadmap across manufacturing, aligned to Pandora’s crafting and supply agenda.
  • Co-lead set up of technology backbone and infrastructure that supports all digital initiatives
  • Co-lead analytics and AI agenda for Crafting and Supply
  • Lead product governance: OKR definition, prioritisation, change standards, documentation, and cross-platform alignment.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define overarching problem areas, solution approaches, and value propositions, ensuring aligned prioritisation across the portfolio.
  • Maintain a clear view of the balance between packaged SaaS capabilities and non-packaged or custom-built components, ensuring appropriate governance and lifecycle management for each.

Delivery Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead a structured delivery approach covering discovery, design, development, testing, and go-to-market, balancing transformation with stability of current systems.
  • Strategically orchestrate critical initiatives through continuous alignment with manufacturing stakeholders and other digital and technology teams.
  • Establish and maintain repeatable delivery processes, ensuring consistent quality and predictability across the portfolio

Vendor & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Maintain strategic relationships and escalations with key software and services partners, ensuring contractual clarity, delivery accountability, and roadmap acceleration.
  • Proactively communicate progress, risks, and decisions
  • Prepare stakeholders for decisions through structured analysis, clear options, and explicit trade-offs.
  • Educate business stakeholders on platform capabilities and constraints to set realistic expectations.

People Leadership & Operations

  • Build and coach a high-performing team of product managers, delivery leads, and business analysts, including vendor-embedded talent.
  • Effectively engage and develop remote team members across geographies (Copenhagen, Thailand, Vietnam, India), ensuring inclusive ways of working, clear communication cadences, and equitable development opportunities.
  • Ensure role clarity, career development, and healthy ways of working across the team.
  • Own budgets and capacity planning across the product line.

AI, Automation & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and prioritise opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency across manufacturing technology delivery and operations.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery activities including requirements documentation, testing, and configuration management.
  • Stay current with vendor AI roadmaps and assess adoption aligned to business value, data privacy, and governance standards.

  • 10+ years of manufacturing industry experience with Business / Technology transformation, process management, process execution, process optimization expertise
  • In-depth experience in end-to-end Manufacturing Operations processes preferably in luxury / fashion / jewellery industry
  • Innovative thinker who can demonstrate design thinking techniques to drive process design workshops and help solve complex business problems
  • Ability to set-up, facilitate and lead improvement’ sessions with a range of business stakeholders (incl. experience of process / value stream mapping)
  • A ‘completer-finisher’ taking accountability for ideas from inception to delivery, in an environment that requires robust metrics to confirm success of continuous improvement programs and Lean solutions
  • Operational business experience, ideally in business process design and implementation
  • Strong stakeholder management to ensure a holistic perspective is gathered and priorities is ensured
  • Ability to proactively seek out various opinions and effectively collaborate with others
  • Ability to harmonize and align people, business processes and systems with business strategy
  • Pragmatic in striking balance between short term gains and long-term strategic ambitions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to run effective meetings and drive results with large, diverse teams
  • Willing to support rollout across multiple sites and locations (Thailand & Vietnam) and travel to the different sites as required
  • Lean, Business Process Management Professional, Six Sigma, and/or Agile certifications will be an advantage
