  • Key objectives:
    • Lead strategy initiatives to achieve short to mid-term plan.
    • Oversee daily operations for the production unit
    • Drive production performance across all areas within the operations to ensure products/ projects are delivered on cost, time and quality
    • Ensure resources are allocated sufficiently and optimally to execute activities within production
    • Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive down production cost, improve productivity and quality, and increase FROT (Fill rate on time) and reduce lead time
    • Ensure safe work environment and regulatory obligations are fully complied
    • Ensure CAPEX and OPEX budget adherence
    • Develop people engagement, career path and  build talent successor to support business continuity.

 

 

  • Key duties:
    • Provide inputs to budget planning, production strategic/ productivity roadmap and KPI targets
    • Support implementation and execution of production strategic/ productivity roadmap, and relevant company strategies/ initiatives
    • Translate company goals and productivity roadmap into tangible actions/ metrics and communicate to workforce
    • Ensure manufacturing processes, parameters, and procedures are accurate and strictly followed to maintain the high standard of operations; ensure consistency across all plants
    • Manage shop-floor operations and ensure high quality product, on-time delivery and lowest possible cost, including provide supports the night shift as necessary
    • Oversee production performance against targets; provide insight and recommendation, and ensure corrective actions are taken in a timely manner
    • Collaborate with Product Quality, Facility and Process Excellence (PEx) teams to prioritize and rectify quality issues and other technical problems in a timely manner
    • Align together with Planning, Scheduling regarding load plan and capacity plan, leveling and priorization
    • Prioritize initiatives and activities e.g. troubleshooting , NPI etc. with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient resource utilization
    • Support the innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the production; be a gate-keeper for commissioning activities and handover processes
    • Recommend and implement changes to support productivity, KPI, and continuous improvement
    • Coordinate with Finance business controller to optimize cost performance and working capital usage
    • Provide input to production plan and ensure closed-loop communication between Planning scheduling, Production Shop floor and Production managers
    • Ensure ERP system technical problems are resolved in timely manner and ensure system can support business effectively
    • Share & incorporate best practices/ learnings into manufacturing processes; ensure cross-production units and cross-functional teams learning
    • Manange workplace to ensure all activities are aligned with internal – external regulation and complience.

Pandora started crafting its jewellery in Thailand in 1989, where our founders fell in love with the delicate craftsmanship of the Thai people. To date, there are two crafting facilities in Thailand, Bangkok, and Lamphun, and we employ more than 13,000 skilled craftspeople. By the end of 2024, there are 113 million pieces sold globally, all of which were hand-finished here in Thailand by our skilled craftspeople using high-quality raw materials and sustainable methods.
