About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive Retail Operations Specialist – Inventory Process & Control Excellence to support Pandora's inventory governance, operational controls, and loss prevention agenda across Asia.

 

Based in Singapore, this regional role partners closely with market teams across Asia and the Global Retail Operations- Inventory Process & Control Excellence team to strengthen inventory accuracy, investigate operational losses, identify risks, and drive process excellence. The successful candidate will leverage data, insights, and cross-functional collaboration to improve compliance, reduce shrink, and enhance retail performance across the region.

 

The role reports to the Sales Operations Manager - Retail Support, Systems & Projects.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Operational Controls

  • Monitor inventory accuracy, stock integrity, and compliance across Asia markets
  • Analyse inventory discrepancies, stocktake results, and exception reporting
  • Support regional inventory control standards, governance, and best practices
  • Partner with local markets to resolve inventory issues and improve stock accuracy

 

Investigations & Loss Prevention

  • Conduct investigations relating to inventory losses, cash discrepancies, fraud, refund abuse, suspicious transactions, and discount misuse
  • Perform root cause analysis and identify trends, risks, and control gaps
  • Recommend and track corrective and preventative actions
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, Retail Operations, Internal and External Audit and Global Retail Operations- Inventory Process & Control Excellence on investigations and remediation plans

 

Process Excellence & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, control frameworks, and operational guidelines
  • Translate investigation findings into sustainable process improvements and preventative controls
  • Produce reporting, dashboards, presentations, and performance insights on inventory, shrink, fraud, cash losses, and compliance
  • Support regional and global initiatives focused on operational excellence, control effectiveness, and automation

 

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as a regional subject matter expert on inventory control and investigations
  • Partner with Retail Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Internal Audit, Digital & Technology, and Global Retail Operations- Inventory Process & Control Excellence teams
  • Work closely with Global Retail Operations- Inventory Process & Control Excellence to ensure alignment between regional execution and global standards, policies, and strategic initiatives

  • Improved inventory accuracy and stock integrity across Asia
  • Reduction in shrink, fraud, cash losses, and discount abuse
  • Effective resolution of investigations and implementation of corrective actions
  • Strong compliance and audit performance
  • High-quality insights that drive operational improvements and business performance

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 4-8 years' experience in Retail Operations, Inventory Management, Loss Prevention, Audit, Finance Controls, Fraud Prevention, or a related field
  • Experience investigating inventory variances, operational losses, cash discrepancies, or fraud cases
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Experience developing SOPs, controls, and process improvements
  • Advanced Excel and reporting/BI tool capabilities
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence diverse audiences
  • Experience working across multiple markets or in a regional/global environment is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Audit, Retail Operations, Criminology, or a related discipline
  • Strong local communication skills in collaborating with local stakeholders in Japan and China
